Corinthians midfielder Paulinho has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to European football.

Paulinho has been recently linked to Inter Milan and Shakhtar Donetsk from Ukraine and had previously been linked to Chelsea too.

The midfielder played the second leg of the São Paulo State League final, which Corinthians won, despite drawing 1-1 with Santos.

He told reporters after the game: “It’s not a good bye. We were missing this title and we got it.”

“I will continue at Corinthians. Maybe because of our elimination in Copa Libertadores, many people said that I will leave, that I received an offer.”

Paulinho completed: “When I receive an offer, I will tell. I have done so twice already. There is nothing official, I just have to thank the squad.”

His buyout fee is estimated in 20 million Euros, Flamengo’s Ibson might be signed and could be the replacement for Paulinho if he leaves.
